The F18 is a high quality battery from Varta. The Varta Silver Dynamic batteries belong to the high-end segment of the car battery market, as they were primarily designed for vehicles with high performance requirements. Cars with many electrical consumers in particular benefit from a Varta Silver Dynamic. Batteries from the series also impress with their high corrosion resistance and durability. The dimensions are 315 x 175 x 175 mm. Use the dimensions of your old battery or the dimensions of your battery box as a guide. If the deviations are too large, it may be that the battery cannot be installed or is too loose. The cold cranking current is 800 A. The larger the motor, the more current is required to start it.

With 85 Ah capacity, the F18 offers safe performance. It is a maintenance-free acid battery, which is why it is not necessary to top up with water.

You should consider this when buying

Make sure that the wiring and polarity of your new Varta battery match the data of your old model. The circuit shows whether the positive pole is on the right or left of the battery. HIGH QUALITY DEPENDABLE BATTERY AND SUPPLIER

I bought this battery to replace a depleted OEM one on my car. It is an upgrade on the original and has performed well in this cold weather. I have used this make and type (silver dynamic) in other cars and they have never let me down.

Second Time Buying This Model

I bought a Varta F18 when the previous replacement died in March 2013.
The replacement F18 lasted 10.5years being pretty much on trickle charge for most of that time. So I bought this model again and will hopefully last a similar time as I'm very happy with a 10+ year lifespan.

Great battery, great price.

Higher performance battery than OEM from a known brand and much, much better price. The only reason my review is not 10 is the choice of courier as, unfortunately, their service left quite a lot to be desired.
