Starter and supply batteries for every boat

Our selected starter and supply batteries are all suitable for use on the ship or boat. Our selected cycle-proof supply batteries can also be supplied with energy via an external solar system. For small boats we recommend a dual battery. They are especially space-saving and light and therefore optimal for smaller boats with lower energy requirements.

Dual batteries for small boats

Ideal for vehicles with little space are our dual batteries. They are the best of both worlds. The dual battery has the starting characteristics of a starter battery and the cycle stability of a supply battery. They are characterised by low self-discharge, low maintenance and durability, making them perfect for seasonal use in caravans and boats.
Even with dual batteries, the choice is between two technologies:

Wet battery: In these batteries the acid mixture (electrolyte) is liquid. For some types, distilled water must be topped up at regular intervals.
AGM battery (Absorbent Glass Mat): In AGM batteries, the electrolyte is completely bound in a glass fibre fleece, so these batteries are leak-proof even if damaged.

Both battery technologies must be recharged at regular intervals with a suitable charger.
