Varta have introduced the xEV 'A' range of batteries which replace the previously popular AGM range. There is no change in the batteries construction or technology, it is purely the label and identifier code that has changed.

This particular battery - The Varta A8 replaces the D52 which was previously strongly associated with start stop vehicles. Varta realised that their batteries can be used for much wider purposes such as Electric Vehicles as well as AGM batteries.
