The Saft LS 17500 is a primary lithium cell that is based on lithium-thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl₂) chemistry. They are perfectly suited to high energy and high voltage requirements in a wide range of temperatures. These batteries have an extremely low self discharge rate, which means they will last 5 to 20 years depending on the application.
