Not quite the same as the OEM Merc W246

On arrival I noticed 4 unexpected differences to the OEM battery.
The terminals are not threaded, but there are some nuts supplied , these are tricky to fit in the location.
The battery voltage was lower than the part I removed, must have been in storage for a while.
The gas or liquid drain hole isnt on the right hand edge, but the rear long side.
So the default pipe do not reach and the cover would not fit over if it did.
The battery cover also now does not fit back fully, I can not see which bit is stopping the cover from closing. It does place back to a point where it is not a big issue.

Battery arrived next day in spite of the 3-4 day delivery promise....fitted it to my Mercedes E250, was a little more complicated than a straight swap but they provided all of the fasteners to successfully install....as a little tip, my auxiliary battery was in the boot, so because of space constraints and the fixing bolt and nut being a bit fiddly, I had to unbolt the neutral from the chassis and fit it before installing the battery and attaching the live cable....Thank you Battery Group.

Exide battery supplied better specification than the OEM battery installed in the car . Peeled the MB label off to find FIAMM manufacture . Battery supplied cheaper than dealership, with abetter warranty fast and delivered free. Would recommend this company.

Which starter battery is right for my bike?

The easiest way is to use the data of your old battery. Make a note of the capacity, voltage, base strip and circuit. For 100% accuracy you should measure the size (length, width and height) of the old starter battery. With this data you can easily find the right starter battery.

What is the difference between the battery technologies?

● Acid: Inside the battery is liquid acid which should be refilled at regular intervals - this is usually the cheapest price variant.
● AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat Technology): In AGM batteries, the electrolyte (acid) is completely bound in a glass fibre fleece, so the batteries are leak-proof - medium price variant.
● GEL: The acid in these batteries is thickened to a gel. Like the AGM battery, they are leak-proof and extremely durable - high-quality price variant.

What is the delivery time of a starter battery?

Our starter batteries are packed and dispatched directly after your order by our automated packing line. The delivery time is between 1-3 days. If you need further information about your order, simply contact our service team. Or use the shipment tracking.

Can I return my old battery?

You can return the old battery to our shop. Alternatively, you can dispose of the used battery at a recycling centre or scrap dealer. Important: Ensure the respective company provides confirmation about the disposal of the old battery.

How can I recharge the battery?

The starter battery is recharged during a longer period of time. If you wish to recharge the motorcycle battery for a longer period of time, use a charger.

How long does it take to fully charge my starter battery?

The starter battery will be recharged by the alternator during the motorcycle ride. The starter battery cannot usually not be charged enough during frequent short distances. In order for your new starter battery to last longer, you should fully charge it by prolonged motorcycle journeys or an optional charger.

How do I know the correct connection (terminal arrangement)?

The easiest way is to use the data of your old battery. Or refer to your motorcycle owner's manual.

What voltage does my motorcycle need?

Almost all motorcycles use the 12V voltage. If you are unsure, check your old battery or your motorcycle manual.
