Gel for boat
I bought 3 for my boat to provide domestic power. Previous lead acid and 'budget' AGMs only last 2 or 3 years so I am hoping the gels will reduce the frequency that I have to replace. I also wanted a good brand name. At around 40kg there is a decent amount of lead in them, which should incread longevity. Quick delivery from Battery Group, but one was delivered at 10.5v, and after charging was clearly faulty. Took a week to arrange replacement. Telephone answer times were quick. Of course if a sanity test was made prior to shipment then much effort and redelivery cost would have been saved.
