The EA612 is a car starter battery from Exide. The dimensions are 242 x 175 x 175 mm. Use the dimensions of your old battery or the dimensions of your battery box as a guide. If the deviations are too large, it may be that the battery cannot be installed, is too loose, or is the wrong battery for your vehicle. The cold cranking current is 600 A. The larger the motor, the more current is required to start it. The EA612 has a capacity of 61 Ah. The higher the value, the more electrical charge can be stored in the battery. In the past, acid batteries had to be topped up with water. Nowadays this is no longer necessary: the EA612 is maintenance-free.

2003 Ford Focus
Technically I think this is overpowered for my 2003 Ford Focus but it's been working flawlessly. I do a lot of short journeys so I wanted something a bit better than the minimum spec. I'm no longer afraid to turn the engine off when waiting at a level crossings.
